The setting is Casselman, Ontario where Jeanne Lacroix is celebrating her 90th birthday. The family celebrations are spirited, just like the woman whose birthday it is. Brigitte Labelle, 22 years old, introduces us to her grandmother, who she says is her role model. Between the grandmother and the granddaughter –who has a degree in gerontology –, spontaneous, wise and humorous exchanges take place. Jeanne has 14 children, 52 grandchildren, 83 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Her destiny was set out for her at 18 years old when she witnessed the apparition of the Virgin Mary.
